Final inspection operator — City of Belfast

Immediate opening: we are hiring a final inspection operator in City of Belfast, Northern Ireland. The job is at a busy manufacturing plant. You will measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings; segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items; escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating and night shifts • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift.
