Immediate opening: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Turner County, South Dakota. You will be based at a busy sheet-metal workshop. The role involves control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. What we are looking for: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
