We are recruiting: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Clinton County, New York. You will work at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. On the job you will handle: • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes Ideal candidate: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $5,300 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
