Join our team: we are hiring a meat cutter in Montgomery County, Virginia. You will be based at a busy retail butcher's shop. On a typical shift you will monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts. You should have: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter Full-time, day shift.
