Join our team: we are hiring a horticulturist in Alamance County, North Carolina. The job is at a plant nursery. You will maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs. Requirements: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting 2+ years on the tools preferred.
