HSE supervisor • City of Harrisonburg, Virginia

Great opportunity: we are hiring a HSE supervisor in City of Harrisonburg, Virginia. You will work at a busy construction site. The role involves: • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry Requirements: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
