Concrete shuttering carpenter wanted in Franklin County

Join our team: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Franklin County, Iowa. You will be based on a metro and tunnel project. Ideal candidate: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts You will box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $15 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
