Urgent requirement: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Borough of Bury, England. You will work in an automotive paint and panel workshop. The role involves compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish; prime and seal bare metal to stop rust. What we are looking for: • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners Pay around £6,100 per project, based on your experience.
