Immediate opening: we are hiring an ironing operator in Lee County, Arkansas. Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine On a typical shift you will operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $3,200 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
