Elevator repair technician — Floyd County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Floyd County, Georgia. The role involves: • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches Ideal candidate: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
