Argon arc welder — Southend-on-Sea

Join our team: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Southend-on-Sea, England. The role involves TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec. You should have: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work 4+ years on the tools preferred. £125 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
