Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Scurry County, Texas. Ideal candidate: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings On a typical shift you will clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
