We are recruiting: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Jasper County, Indiana. What we are looking for: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Day-to-day duties: • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec Pay around $180 per day, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
