Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams The role involves: • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required 3+ years on the tools preferred.
