Gas appliance installer • Richland County, South Carolina

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in Richland County, South Carolina. You will work at a heating and plumbing contractor. Requirements: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing On the job you will handle: • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits.
