Steel fixing chargehand — Enugu North

Now hiring: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Enugu North, Enugu State. Day-to-day duties: • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench Requirements: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Six days a week, one day off. Pay around ₦175,000 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
