We are recruiting: refrigeration field service technician (New York)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a refrigeration field service technician in Allegany County, New York. You will be based at a busy refrigeration workshop. Requirements: • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts The role involves: • Service split AC units and VRF systems • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
