Join our team: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Elmore County, Alabama. You will work on a busy housing site. Day-to-day duties: • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts You should have: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
