Tig welder wanted in Stephens County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tig welder in Stephens County, Georgia. Requirements: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height The role involves: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints Full-time, day shift.
