Garment presser wanted in Los Angeles County

Join our team: we are hiring a garment presser in Los Angeles County, California. You will work in a tailoring workshop. The role involves: • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics Requirements: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
