Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar worker in Midland County, Texas. Your main tasks: • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing What we are looking for: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates Full-time, day shift.
