On the job you will handle: • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Give each garment a final press before packing Requirements: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
