Sand plant operator • Anson County, North Carolina

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Anson County, North Carolina. Day to day you will inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges. You should have: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $3,100 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
