Milling machinist — Arlington County

Now hiring: we are hiring a milling machinist in Arlington County, Virginia. You will be based in a CNC machining unit. Requirements: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T Your main tasks: • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance Full-time with occasional weekends. Pay around $22 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
