Great opportunity: we are hiring an overlocker operator in York County, Pennsylvania. You will be based in a small denim manufacturing unit. Requirements: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line You will keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers.
