Great opportunity: we are hiring a pastry baker in Pike County, Alabama. You will work at an in-store supermarket bakery. You should have: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Able to work early-morning and night shifts On the job you will handle: • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity $17 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
