Wood machinist wanted in West Northamptonshire

Vacancy available: we are hiring a wood machinist in West Northamptonshire, England. The job is on a commercial fit-out site. On a typical shift you will assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring. You should have: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
