Urgent requirement: foundry worker (Kentucky)

Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry worker in Marion County, Kentucky. You will be based at a brass and bronze foundry. Ideal candidate: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Day to day you will carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities.
