Scullery hand wanted in City of Lynchburg

Join our team: we are hiring a scullery hand in City of Lynchburg, Virginia. You will be based in a catering unit. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable lifting heavy pots, pans and stock crates • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers On a typical shift you will hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method; clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift; load and run the commercial dishwashing machine through wash cycles; sort, dry and return clean plates and bowls to the kitchen stations; keep the dish pit tidy, dry and slip-free throughout service; mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
