Lifting rigger wanted in Schleicher County

Now hiring: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Schleicher County, Texas. You will work on an offshore oil and gas platform. Day-to-day duties: • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads Requirements: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
