Hydraulic crane operator — Okaloosa County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Okaloosa County, Florida. The job is at a container port and shipping yard. What we are looking for: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Understanding of hand and radio signals Day-to-day duties: • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $5,200 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
