Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Catahoula Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in a job-work machining unit. Day-to-day duties: • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles What we are looking for: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $3,900 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
