Urgent requirement: we are hiring a metal caster in Trumbull County, Ohio. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. The role involves: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings Requirements: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
