Canteen cook — Winona County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a canteen cook in Winona County, Minnesota. You will be based in a catering banquet kitchen. On a typical shift you will taste and adjust seasoning for consistency; manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs; prepare the mise en place before each service; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases. Ideal candidate: • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
