Moulder wanted in Amherst County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a moulder in Amherst County, Virginia. Your main tasks: • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
