We are recruiting: gas appliance installer (South Carolina)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in Fairfield County, South Carolina. The job is at a boiler and appliance service centre. On the job you will handle: • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply Ideal candidate: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Able to read isometric and site drawings • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Share your details and we will call you back.
