Urgent requirement: offshore rigger (West Virginia)

Now hiring: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Pocahontas County, West Virginia. You will work at a power plant. You should have: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Day to day you will coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; read lift plans and method statements before starting. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
