The role involves: • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet You should have: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus 5+ years on the tools preferred.
