Banksman • Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania

We are recruiting: we are hiring a banksman in Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania. You will be based on a high-rise building site. You should have: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces The role involves: • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
