Now hiring: escalator technician (Mississippi)

Join our team: we are hiring an escalator technician in George County, Mississippi. You will work in a machine room on the rooftop. You will wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; run load and overload tests with test weights; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables. You should have: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring 3+ years on the tools preferred.
