Pipe TIG welder • Akure North, Ondo State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Akure North, Ondo State. You will be based at a busy fabrication workshop. On a typical shift you will run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection 2+ years on the tools preferred.
