Aluminium fitter • McMullen County, Texas

We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium fitter in McMullen County, Texas. The job is in a fabrication and glazing factory. What we are looking for: • Physically able to lift and carry heavy glass and profiles • Able to read shop drawings and work to given sizes Your main tasks: • Punch and notch sections for cleats, gaskets and hardware • Fit EPDM rubber gaskets and beading into the glazing channels • Check frames for plumb, level and square before fixing • Install glass panels and secure them with glazing beads • Assemble window and door frames from extruded sections • De-burr, clean and protect anodised or powder-coated surfaces Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $30 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Share your details and we will call you back.
