MIG/MAG welder — Waldo County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Waldo County, Maine. What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently You will bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls.
