Immediate opening: skimming plasterer (Minnesota)

Join our team: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Houston County, Minnesota. The job is on a busy domestic building site. On the job you will handle: • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets Ideal candidate: • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work Rotating shifts. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
