Gas commissioning technician — Golden Valley County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Golden Valley County, Montana. You will be based in a gas distribution network. What we are looking for: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion On the job you will handle: • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser 5+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
