Vacancy available: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Saint James Parish, Louisiana. Day to day you will apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters. You should have: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Able to read formwork and structural drawings Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
