Urgent requirement: we are hiring a crane operator in Ekiti East, Ekiti State. The job is in an open-cast mine. Ideal candidate: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance On a typical shift you will load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook.
