Ladle pourer wanted in Montgomery County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Montgomery County, Ohio. The job is at an aluminium die-casting plant. What we are looking for: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards The role involves: • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity Pay around $260 per day, based on your experience.
