Glass and glazing technician • Edwards County, Illinois

Join our team: we are hiring a glass and glazing technician in Edwards County, Illinois. You will work in a shopfront glazing company. Day to day you will secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points; work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders; apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass; fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames; clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film; glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions. You should have: • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
