Vacancy available: fabricator-welder (South Carolina)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Greenville County, South Carolina. You will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring). Requirements: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height 2+ years on the tools preferred. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
